Hey there!
Here's a magical kitten that's too cute to spook and is just one of the adorable cat images from Whimsy Stamps' "Hocus Pocus Kittens" Stamp Set! I paired these two with the "Happy Halloween Word Die Set" in a CAS design layout!
The ink-blended background panel was created with Distress Oxides and spattered with orange, black and gold metallic watercolors; the panel was trimmed to fit an A2-sized card and attached to the front. I had just a bit left over and I die cut the word "Happy" from this same background piece and "Halloween" from black card stock. The images were stamped, watercolored and die cut.
To assemble, I cut two panels (2.75" x 4.25" and .5" x 4.25") from 110# white card stock and backed each one with white craft foam. These panels were adhered to the inked background with liquid adhesive. The word die cuts were glued down next, followed by the stamped images and a few matte black sequins finished up the design! I was really happy with the way the cat and mouse overlap into the background window opening!
