Autumn Card | Graciellie - "Vintage Pears" Digital Stamp Set

Hello!

I've got a nearly one-layer card for you today featuring Graciellie's beautiful "Vintage Pears" Digital Stamp Set but I couldn't resist using some matte gold sequins to add a little bling to this watercolored image!

The image was downloaded, sized to fit an A2 card front and printed on 110# Cougar White Opaque Card Stock. The background was randomly ink blended with "Tumbled Glass" and "Unchartered Mariner" Distress Oxide inks, spritzed with shimmer mist and spattered with pearlized paints. The colored panel was trimmed to size, glued to a card base and the sequins attached. This card took under an hour to complete start-to-finish because the watercoloring was not precise but gestural in feel. You can see the slightly messy feel on the painting in the photo below!

Thanks so much for joining me today and happy crafting!

Autumn Card | Pink & Main - "Harvest Greetings"

Hello!

Pink & Main's August Release is this FRIDAY and I can't wait for you to see all of the great new stamp sets, stand-alone dies, tear-off tapes/adhesive sheets and best of all...glitters in awesome fall colors! I used the NEW "Pumpkin Spice" Glitter on my sentiment die cut and it's super fine with tons of interesting colors in the blend!

I stamped, colored and die cut all of my images from the NEW "Harvest Greetings" Stamp & Die Sets. I just love all of the scene-building images included in this set that can be used for many other occasions! This is an unusual card size, 3.75" X 7", not quite a slimline or a mini slimline but somewhere in the middle. I ink blended the panel with Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass/Mermaid Lagoon for the sky and Crushed Olive/Peeled Paint for the grass), and added some soft, golden rays using the "Sunshine Layers" Stencil in Mustard Seed. I spritzed the panel with water, spattered it with gold watercolor and attached it to the card base

I die cut the large sentiment from heavy-weight black card stock two times and adhered the NEW "Pumpkin Spice" Glitter to one of the cuts. All of the pieces were attached to the inked panel with either glue or foam tape and I added some of the gold "Sparkle Gems" to finish up this pumpkin patch scene!

Please stop by the Pink & Main shop this FRIDAY to check out all of the great new Halloween/Autumn products!

Happy crafting and have a wonderful day!

Autumn Card | Picket Fence Studios - "Reverse Slim Line Leaf Stencil"

Happy Wednesday!

I've got a stenciled project for you today featuring this beautiful NEW "Reversed Slim Line Leaf Stencil" from Picket Fence Studios! I used the NEW "Pumpkin Spices" Paper Glaze Ombre to create this color blend! These colors really shine and work so well together - it's the perfect warm autumn combination.

I began by taping my card stock to my glass mat and then securing the stencil down on top. I added small amounts of each Paper Glaze color about three inches apart from each other and blended these across the short side of the stencil. I added a bit of extra glaze where needed and then I ran my largest palette knife horizontally across the stencil for the finishing blend. I washed the knives and stencil immediately and set the panel aside to dry for about 15 minutes.

I added gold paint spatters to the dry panel, trimmed it down to 3 1/8" x 9" and attached it to a black mat measuring 3 5/8" x 9". The NEW "Happy Fall Y'all" Word Topper Die was cut from heavy weight black card stock and I added two fine lines with my ruling pen with the same gold paint; this strip was glued on top of the leaf panel and this entire piece was affixed to a kraft slim line card base (4" x 9"). I added a few gems from the "Sands Of Time" Mix and black sequins from the NEW "Midnight Tales" Sequins Mix.

Here are the products I used on this card:

Thanks so much for joining me today and take care!
