Red Cre8s Instagram Giveaway

I'm also adding a Prize Giveaway of my own to help celebrate this Blog Hop Collaboration so head over to my Instagram Page for all of the details!

My card today features this beautiful sunflower image from Joy Clair Designs' "Thankful For You" Stamp Set! I stamped, watercolored and fussy the flower/leaves. I cut the largest rectangle from the "Stitched Rectangles" I Die Set from a piece of the warm yellow gingham from Pink & Main's latest 6x6 Paper Pack, "Garden". This gingham panel was glued onto a black card base.

I die cut two of the largest scallop circles (Pink & Main's Reverse Scallop Circles) and glued/stacked them together. A circle of yellow polka dot paper from the "All Occasions Florals" 6x6 Paper Pack was attached behind this frame. I heat embossed the sentiment on black card stock and die cut it with a large fishtail banner from the new "Roses" Stamp/Die Set. I attached my sunflower/leaves to the banner, tied it with a baker's twine bow and glued it into place inside the scallop frame.

I hope that you will join us to see all of the creative projects and here is the blog hop list:

  17. Wow. You chose some very well-thought shapes/colors for a cohesive card. Nicely done. BTW, I don't do IG, but I used your link to look-see, and may I just say that you have some fabulous cards pictured there? Your generous extra prize package looks nice, too (though I can't participate in the give-away...boo!) Thanks for sharing.

  19. This card makes me happy! The effort that you made to stamp, color and fussy cut the sunflower really made this card pop! I love all of the added details to your card, such as the gingham panel and ribbon and the white sentiment on black...they really tied this beautiful card together. Fabulous job! Thank you for inspiring me to step outside of my comfort zone and create my first card!
