Hello!
Thanks so much for stopping by today...I've got a pretty celebration bouquet to share with you that could be used for lots of different occasions! I just love this new "Missing You" Stamp & coordinating Die Set and these beautiful, graphic floral elements can be grouped together in an endless number of ways!
I stamped all of my images with navy dye ink for a softer feel and water colored everything in a bright palette of hot pink, aqua, lime/emerald greens, and a bit of soft peach. These colors just look like spring to me! I die cut all of the pieces and sewed a few iridescent seed beads to the center of the main flower with a bit of silver thread - this really added a lot of dimension and a pop of shine to the middle of the flower.
I die cut a light gray panel using one of the Stitched Rectangles and spattered it with a bit of white and light silver paint. This combination looks fantastic on the light gray card stock! This panel was glued to a top-folding A2 card base and I arranged my bouquet pieces in the top right corner. Once I had a grouping I liked, I took a quick picture with my iPhone and carefully removed the top pieces. I then marked the bottom layer placement with tiny pencil marks and began gluing those pieces to the spattered panel. I gently curled up the leaves by hand and only applied glue to one end, allowing the pieces to float a bit above card stock. I referred to my photo to attach the remaining pieces in place and stamped the sentiment using the MISTI. In the photo below, you can see how the dye ink lets a bit of that silver paint to shine through the sentiment giving it bit of luminosity! I added a few bright pink sequins to finish up the card.

Another absolute stunner. I like the idea of using navy ink instead of black. It does give a less harsh line. Love Dawn x
