Boo Yah!
Sharing this CAS Halloween Card with you today that features some great "Essentials by Ellen" Stamp Sets (Boo-Yah & Happy Haunting) created by Julie Ebersole! I'm playing along with The Paper Players Tic-Tac Toe #506 and using die cuts, embossing and pattern paper for the current challenge!
Using the MISTI, I stamped the starry night background with three different Distress Oxide Inks - Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet and Black Soot - to create a shaded backdrop. The ghost bodies were stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with a shimmery holographic powder and then the black outline was stamped on top with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. This embossing powder is so shiny and changes color with the light angle! I die cut the ghosts and popped them into place on the A2 top-folding card base with foam tape.
I stamped the large sentiment under the background, added a band of diagonal striped paper at the bottom and a thin strip of black glitter paper along the edge. A few moonshine star sequins finished up the card! I just love that giant scripty "boo"! Thanks so much for joining me today!
