Halloween Card | Whimsy Stamps - "So Witchy" Clear Stamp Set

Hello!

It's my favorite card-making season of year...time to get started on HALLOWEEN projects! I can't tell you how excited I am to announce that I've been asked to rejoin the Whimsy Stamps Halloweeners Design Team again this year! I will be sharing lots of spooky goodness in the next few months and I hope you find some inspiration in the amazing projects designed by my creative teammates!

This design started with an ink-blended panel using the following Distress Oxides: Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves and Villainous Poison. Black Soot Ink was used through the "Comic Half Tone" Stencil to add a bit of extra texture at the bottom of the panel and this inky sky background was adhered to a top-folding A2 card base. I stamped/watercolored this wacky witch from the "So Witchy" Clear Stamp Set onto 100# card stock and fussy cut the image. I love how her cute cohort is peeking out from behind the broom!

The moon was created by mixing Brushos Colour Crystals together with gold watercolors on heavy watercolor paper. Once the panel was dry, a large circle was die cut and glued to the card front.

The sentiment (from the "Hocus Pocus Kittens" Clear Stamps Set) was heat embossed with gold powder, trimmed and adhered with black craft foam on top of the "moon" die cut. The witch was glued into place and a few small gold stars finished up the card!

Thanks so much for joining me today and I hope you'll stop back for all the Halloween projects coming up over the next several months!

Take care and happy crafting!
Rachelle
