Happy Friday!
I've got an all-die card design for you today that features these two die sets from Whimsy Stamps - the "Boo" Die Set and "Slimline Hill House" Die Set! These two sets work perfectly together and the slimline die can be trimmed down to work on any card size with some selective die cutting!
I started with a swirled, ink-blended background created with Distress Oxide Inks that was heavily spattered with pearl watercolor. The haunted house was die cut from heavy black card stock, trimmed to size and backed with a piece of aqua cardstock to shine through the window/door openings.
I die cut the ghosts and lightly inked them with the same Distress Oxides to give them some dimension and allow them to fade a bit into the background. The word was die cut from silver metallic card stock and glued onto a black die cut to give it an offset shadow. The house was popped off the inked background with foam tape and the ghosts/word die were glued into place. I adhered a skinny white mat to the back of the inked panel and the finished piece was attached to a 5" x 7" black card front. Some shiny silver stars were added to finish up the card!
