Christmas Card | Picket Fence Studios - "Winter Has Come To Town" Stamp Set

YAY!

It’s release day at Picket Fence Studios and we’ve got so much creative fun to share! I’m starting with this festive winter street scene, “Winter Has Come To Town” and the coordinating “Winter Scene Building People”! Aren't these fantastic?!? They can be mixed and matched in so many different ways!

This set includes a large main stamp complete with row houses and snowy sidewalks ready to be filled with last-minute shoppers, dog walkers, kids pulling sleds and maybe even a Santa sighting! I decided to set my scene on kraft card stock and stamped the main image with Picket Fence Studios’ “Black Hybrid Ink”. I watercolored this scene, which took me about 90 minutes to complete, and I added a bit of snow with a spattering of white opaque paint. This panel was trimmed down to  4” x 5.25” and attached to a black A2 card base.

I attached a heat embossed sentiment strip to the side walk area and Santa (from the “Winter Scene Building People”) up on the roof! A few of the tiny white snowflake embellishments from the “A Snowy Season” Sequin Mix Plus were adhered to the sky to finish up the card! The details for this month's release giveaway are listed below and I hope you'll join us for all the fun over on the PFS' YouTubeChannel!

  1. There's so many small details to see,it's a great stamp,to be able to add the people from the second set gives loads of design options,I'm not surprised it took so long to colour,a brilliant make. Hope you're keeping well and still enjoying good weather, autumn is starting to take hold here, much cooler and the leaves are turning colour and falling
