Boo - I see You!
Thanks so much for joining me today as we kick off Picket Fence Studios' July Release, which is filled with so much autumn, Halloween and Christmas-y goodness! I'm already a bit behind with my Halloween cards and the products in this release are the perfect way to get the ball rolling!
I began by stenciling the NEW "Jack-o-Lantern" Stencil off the left edge of an A2 panel with "Dried Marigold" and "Fired Brick" Distress Oxide Inks. I spritzed/blotted the panel and cut the wreath's interior with a large circle die. Using this panel as a guide, I die cut the front of a top-folding A2 card base with the same circle so that I would have a window opening to the inside for my spiderweb! The sentiment from the NEW "Fancy Autumn Sentiments" Stamp Set was stamped onto the front using the MISTI.
I created a piece of glitter paper by applying the NEW "Autumn Persimmon" Paper Glitz to a piece of heavy-weight black card stock. I spread a dime-sized amount of the Paper Glitz over the surface with a palette knife. This Paper Glitz is so sparkly and contain at least 4-7 different shades of glitter for super depth and shine! Once dry, there is ZERO flake off and it only takes a small amount for perfect coverage! I die cut my spooky spider from the glitter paper using NEW Spiderweb Cover Plate Die; the web was die cut from black card stock and spritzed with shimmer spray for a bit of shine!
I attached the spiderweb die cut to the inside of the card front and suspended the glittery spider on top! This spider web cover plate is AMAZING - it's so detailed and realistic but die cuts perfectly! The card front was backed with foam tape and adhered in place. I finished things up with a few sequins from the NEW "Trick or Treaters" Sequins Mix!
Here are the products I used for today's card!
