Well, I admit it - I just can't get enough of the new "Pig Time" Stamp & Die Set and this happy piglet is bringing a balloon bouquet to the party!
I stamped the pig image two times and cut around the balloon on one to create a mask. The balloon was then stamped twice more and I used a permanent marker to draw in the additional strings. The image was water colored to match the "Happy" Paper Pad palette and fussy cut. The balloons were painted to make them appear slightly transparent, blending the colors together where they were overlapping and creating a softened outline. I die cut three banners from the pattern papers using the longest of the "Large 1/2" Sentiment Strip Dies".
I ink blended a sky panel (2.75" x 5.25") with Broken China DOI and stamped the sentiment from the "Hello Sweet" Stamp Set at the bottom. This panel was glued onto an A2 top-folding card base, the banners were trimmed/adhered on top and the pig was popped into place with foam tape. I die cut the word "happy" from both black card stock/Glitter Paper and glued them together to create an offset glitter shadow. This was attached onto the banners and I finished up the card with a few of the new "Unicorn Pearls", which perfectly matched the plum/teal colors of the pattern paper!
