Yippee!
It's time for another shot of caffeinated fun at the Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer Hop and the DT at Graciellie Design has been hard at work creating some amazing projects with a newly created digi stamp set, "Spring Coffee Cup", that Gracie illustrated just for this event! This set is filled with scripty sentiments, circular stitched labels and beautifully drawn to-go cups!
I began my spring coffee design with an ink-blended sun ray background, which was trimmed with an A2 stitched rectangle. This panel was glued to a card base and pattern paper was added to the bottom. I printed, water colored and fussy cut the floral cup image, which was backed with craft foam and adhered in place.
The sentiment label was printed on light yellow card stock, punched and glued to a decorative circle die cut that reminded me of a graphic sun - perfect for this card! I popped this piece up with two layers of foam tape and pressed it into place, just overlapping the coffee cup. I added an assortment of sequins and gems in warm yellows to complete the card.
