Christmas Card | Graciellie Design - “All is Calm” & “Start Anew Magnolias”

Sending you JOY!

I’ve got another card to share with you today featuring Graciellie Design’s new “All is Calm” mini release! I have really enjoyed working with this small (but mighty) digital stamp set and I created several slimline base patterns in the Cricut Design Space to use in this card layout. Those images are available for you to download on my "Freebies" page!

I began by designing the large scallop card base and used this as my sizing template for all of the other components. I mixed the pine cones from the “All is Calm” set with additional greenery from the new “Start Anew Magnolias” and created a somewhat circular image, which would be my “O” in the word JOY! (Here is a screen shot to show the process)

I tested lots of fonts for the letters “J” and “Y” until I found what I liked and plugged those into the template. When was happy with everything, I pulled the pieces into the Design Space and began cutting. The Graciellie circular image was printed on cream card stock, water colored and fussy cut.

The scallop base was glued together and the stenciled rectangle panel was adhered on top. For added dimension, three of each of the light green letters were glued/stacked together. When I determined final placement, the dark green shadows letters were glued down first and the stacked letters were glued on top. The pine cone cluster was popped into place with foam tape and the finished front panel was attached to a card base with Scor Tape.

The Design Team has created so many amazing projects with this new release - go check out the projects on Gracie's IG -> @gracielliedesign -> she's got a great giveaway going on right now!
