Hello!
I'm sharing another project today featuring Graciellie Design's new mini set, "All is Calm." This CAS layout uses Desert Storm card stock and an ink-blended stencil strip to showcase these pretty pine cones!
The image was printed on 100# white card stock and watercolored. After it was fussy cut, I ran a black marker around the edges to finish it off - this way there isn't a glaring white margin where my poor fussy-cutting skills show up! : ) I ink-blended the stencil pattern onto the front of a top-folding A2 card base.
I spattered white and gold paint onto 130# Desert Storm card stock and trimmed my two panels to size. To give this card a bit of dimension, the panels were backed with craft foam and glued to the front. The sentiment strip was printed, die cut and adhered into place. The pine cones were popped up with foam tape and a few matte gold sequins finished up the card!
Thanks so much for stopping by and for all of your comments...they really make my day!
