YAY! It's Whimsy Stamps' Halloween Release Day #2!
I'm kicking off this product release with one of the wonderful images from the NEW "Wicked Cute" Clear Stamp Set! How adorable are these two Halloween Cuties?!? I just love these illustrations - they are so well drawn and have big personalties (even that cute little kitty!) There is also a coordinating "Wicked Cute" Outline Die Set to match!
I decided to go clean & simple with this design and inked up a purple background with "Shaded Lilac", "Wilted Violet", "Prize Ribbon" and "Villainous Poison" Distress Oxide Inks. I spritzed the panel with shimmer mist and heavy spatters of purple metallic watercolor. The panel was trimmed to 4.25" x 5.5" and prepped with an anti-static powder tool. The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink, heat embossed with white powder and then attached to a card base.
The little witch and her sidekick were stamped, watercolored and fussy cut. I just LOVE the expression on her sweet face, the giant polka dots on her dress and that hair! All of that glorious hair! She was so fun to color and I adhered both stamped images into place on the edge of the white negative space; some of the super shiny "Glazed Grape Confetti" was added to finish up the card!
