Hello!
Today I'm sharing a birthday card with some "Cat-ittude"! The recent "Love Kittens" release from Graciellie Design can be used for so many different projects including birthdays just by adding a quick party hat! I see a cowboy hat, a moustache (for going "In-Catnito"), earmuffs...tons of ideas!
I printed, water colored and fussy cut the digital stamp images. The A2-sized background was stenciled with DO Inks and attached to the card front. Die cut frames were glued on top and the cat was popped into place with foam tape. Then I took a small piece of tracing paper and drew the basic shape/size of the hat and transferred it to white card stock. I loosely drew the hat with a black marker, colored and fussy the image and glued it onto the cat. I added the red pom pom to the top and a few black/gold pearls to finish the card. You could also die cut a hat shape or create one using a simple triangle shape! The possibilities are endless!
