Hi There!
We are starting a great new challenge over on the Alphabet Blog today..."L" is for Ladybugs and I decided to create a scene using some of my favorite MFT Stamps products! I've been seeing lots of great jewel tone colorations as we head into the fall season and pulled this palette together - teal, plum, olive, maroon, curry and sienna brown. All of my favorites together in one place!
I stenciled the background with Distress Oxide Inks - Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade, Peeled Paint and Forest Moss - creating the grass sky areas. The images were stamped, colored, die cut and then either glued directly onto the background or popped up with foam tape. Stamped the sentiment (using the MISTI) and added some iridescent gems to finish up the card front. I really love how these MFT images worked together! We can't wait to see your "Ladybugs" over in our Alphabet Challenge Gallery!
